Teaching

Teaching is an integral part of who I am. My teaching comes from an inner place that needs to connect and share ideas with others. As a teaching artist, I enter various spaces with the same goal of cultivating life-long thinkers and learners. How I enter the space and engage with my students changes and adjusts based on the specific needs and cultures of the students with whom I am working.

One of the most important elements of my teaching is facilitating the conversation and learning that happens between students. The more we can relate to each other and understand the diverse point-of-views that we all bring into a room, the better equipped we will be to enter any space and be able to truly communicate with each other. I hope to facilitate those kinds of conversations in the learning spaces I build.
